Our UL Field Evaluation include:
We provide Field Labeling Services in partnership with all major Nationally Recognized Test Laboratories (NRTLs).
Our services cover a wide range of UL Standards, including UL 508 and UL 508A for industrial control panels, as well as UL 891 for switchgear, among others.
Our Engineers are are armed with 20 years of experience, and have done evaluations on most types of production equipment
After the evaluation, we'll provide a detailed report highlighting any issues or non-conformities to the applicable Standards.
The Details of Process:
The path to compliance begins by completing an application and providing machine photos and details.
Our experienced engineer reviews your submission to determine the scope and cost for UL evaluation.
A proposal will be provided for evaluation.
Once the proposal is approved we schedule the on-site evaluation.
Our engineer and engineering partner perform the necessary tests and visual examination of the components and wiring methods that are part of the full evaluation process.
Post-evaluation, we will furnish you with a detailed report. you can decide if prefer to do the remediation scope of work, or to have our team of experienced Technicians/Electricians do the remediation scope.
If you choose Independence Power Systems for the remediation scope, you'll receive a detailed remediation proposal.
The remediation scope once begun is tracked meticulously through process to completion.
Upon completion and final payment, we will label the equipment .
We will also notify the AHJ, (Authority Having Jurisdiction, also know as the city or county inspector) that the process is complete and the that the equipment had been labeled.
When you are ready for the remediation scope of work, you can have confidence it will be done to standard as our engineer will supervise our crew and address any unexpected issues as the remediation scope is being done.

On-site Evaluation & Testing
We schedule a convenient time to conduct detailed on-site evaluations, integrating thermal imaging and UL standards compliance.
Issue Resolution & Retrofit Proposal
After providing a detailed report of any issues, clients choose to self-address or receive our detailed retrofit proposal. Our industrial expertise leads the way.
Final Inspection & Certification
We conduct a final check post-retrofit, guaranteeing defect-free installations for a year. Upon satisfaction, we issue the UL certification sticker.
